Who We Are
PEOAdvisor.com is owned and operated by GuidePoint PEO LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“GuidePoint,” “we,” “us”). GuidePoint is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. This policy applies to PEOAdvisor.com and the forms, tools, and AI assistants offered on it.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you complete the PEO Assessment, the Contact form, a PEO partner form, or another form on this site, we may collect:
- Contact details, such as your name, title, company, email address, and telephone number
- Business information, such as headcount, locations, payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation, and compliance details
- Documents you upload, such as PEO proposals, invoices, or census files
- Information about your employees that is contained in the material you provide
Please mask or remove employee personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, and individual health information, before submitting documents. If you provide information about your employees, you confirm that you are authorized to share it for the purpose of evaluating a PEO relationship.
AI assistant conversations. When you use an AI assistant on this site, we collect the content of your conversation and any information you enter.
Information collected automatically. We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and interactions with the site.
How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Evaluate your business and prepare PEO analysis and recommendations
- Introduce you to PEO providers and coordinate proposals
- Respond to your requests and communicate with you
- Send you educational content and service information, from which you may unsubscribe at any time
- Operate, secure, and improve the site and protect against spam and fraud
- Measure site performance and the effectiveness of our advertising
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
How We Share Information
With PEO providers. Information submitted through the PEO Assessment, the Contact form, or a PEO partner form is received by PEO Advisor and may be shared with one or more PEO providers so they can evaluate your business and prepare proposals. A request submitted through a specific PEO partner page is shared with that PEO. PEO providers use your information under their own privacy policies.
PEO providers compensate GuidePoint through revenue-sharing arrangements, as described on our How We Are Paid page. Because of this compensation, sharing your information with a PEO provider may be considered a “sale” of personal information under certain state privacy laws. You may opt out at any time, as described below.
With service providers. We use service providers that process information on our behalf, including website hosting, form processing, customer relationship management (HubSpot), email and document management (Microsoft 365), analytics (Google Analytics), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), and AI assistant technology ([CONFIRM AI PROVIDER]).
For advertising and analytics. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Google Analytics, which allow those companies to collect information about your use of this site. This may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising” under certain state laws.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers. Information submitted through this site is not shared with Mark J. Burger, P.A. or Balanced Wealth Strategies, LLC, which are separate businesses.
Your Choices
- Opt out of sharing with PEO providers. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the site footer or email [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. Opting out may limit our ability to obtain PEO proposals for you.
- Cookies and advertising. Use the cookie settings link in the site footer to decline non-essential cookies.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
Your Rights
We extend the following rights to all site users, regardless of state of residence: to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Submit requests to [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL]. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Deletion by GuidePoint does not delete information already provided to a PEO provider. Please contact that provider directly; we will identify the providers who received your information upon request.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:
- Employee-level information in submitted documents is deleted or de-identified within 90 days after we deliver our analysis or the inquiry closes.
- Inquiries that do not become an engagement are deleted 24 months after our last communication.
- Records of engaged clients are kept for the engagement and seven years afterward.
- AI assistant conversations are deleted 12 months after the conversation.
We may keep information longer where required by law or to resolve a dispute.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on the site.
